That was a brief 01:05.200 --> 01:08.720 yet very poignant clip from President Trump 01:08.720 --> 01:11.840 in his Tuesday night State of the Union speech. 01:14.080 --> 01:18.160 With that statement, President Trump allowed 01:19.600 --> 01:23.680 a lot of subversive politicians to basically self-identify. 01:24.480 --> 01:32.480 Self-identify by the fact that they did not stand up for American citizens, but they sat down 01:33.440 --> 01:43.120 in quiet solidarity for illegal aliens, illegal people that come to this country who are not 01:43.120 --> 01:49.520 citizens and come not through our legal ways, but illegally. 01:53.280 --> 01:56.800 I mean, it was a great speech that President Trump gave. 01:58.320 --> 02:02.640 However, I would, with all respect for my President, add a few things. 02:05.040 --> 02:09.760 I would add the fact that unfortunately, while the people sitting down 02:10.400 --> 02:15.440 clearly self-identify that they weren't for America first or American values for for our 02:15.440 --> 02:22.480 constitutional republic, the one standing and cheering a large majority of those while they 02:23.520 --> 02:32.400 say and cheer for the American people have done anything but support them. 02:32.560 --> 02:38.480 And that brings us to where we are right now. 02:40.480 --> 02:47.120 While President Trump gave a state of the Union address, I believe we are in a state of 02:48.320 --> 02:57.280 disunion at this current time. We are definitely in a state of disunion in Washington, D.C. 02:58.160 --> 03:05.600 And the reason I say that is not because I believe the average Americans aren't united, 03:05.600 --> 03:12.000 I believe we are. It's not to say that I think the President is responsible for this. I don't 03:12.000 --> 03:17.040 believe he is. In fact, I believe he's doing everything in his power with his authorities 03:18.320 --> 03:23.520 to address and fix these problems. But let me be clear. 03:24.160 --> 03:34.000 This nation is in a state of disunion and disunion leads to disillusion if it is not identified 03:35.680 --> 03:46.480 and corrected. Because of my work in the intelligence community and the things I've seen throughout 03:46.480 --> 03:53.280 my life, unfortunately or fortunately the way you look at it, any way you look at it, I've had 03:53.280 --> 04:00.720 a front row seat to what's going on right now. I wrote a speech for President Trump. And I was trying to say what would I say 04:44.640 --> 04:53.920 as President or what I hoped President Trump would say to the American people to identify the problem 04:56.720 --> 05:07.760 and let them know we have a long but doable or trafable road ahead. Meaning we have a difficult 05:07.760 --> 05:13.760 problem. It's going to take some tough decisions but we can't get there as a united states of America. 05:13.760 --> 05:22.240 But I also understood that we cannot stay the greatest nation in the world. So with that said 06:58.960 --> 07:04.480 here's the speech I wrote for the president my fellow Americans. 07:06.480 --> 07:13.360 Those words used to have so much meaning. Those three words spoken by presidents throughout 07:13.360 --> 07:22.320 our storied history were used to begin a conversation with the American people. A conversation 07:22.320 --> 07:31.520 between the president they elected and the people that he represented. Those simple words 07:31.520 --> 07:37.280 began a conversation where an American leader would explain where we stood as a nation 07:37.280 --> 07:45.760 and what we needed to do as a United States to keep the gift of freedom and the blessings of 07:45.760 --> 07:52.160 prior generations that had been passed down to quote we the people. 07:54.240 --> 08:00.080 In the past those words were not a prelude to introduce a global vision of a few elites and 08:00.080 --> 08:07.120 special interests but to begin a conversation with the people that entrusted them to govern and 08:07.120 --> 08:15.360 protect the constitutional republic that had been handed down to them. A gift given to them in the 08:15.360 --> 08:23.680 American people that was purchased with centuries of self-sacrifice and selfless acts of patriots 08:23.680 --> 08:33.200 who had pledged and given their lives their fortunes and their sacred honor. With that said 08:34.800 --> 08:45.120 my fellow Americans we are at a third crucial point in the history of our United States of America. 08:46.080 --> 08:52.160 The first time was the improbable Christmas miracle that occurred on the night of December 25th, 08:52.160 --> 09:00.240 1776 when a group of weary, cold and poorly equipped patriots crossed the Delaware River and 09:00.240 --> 09:06.640 defeated the Hessian forces in Trenton, New Jersey changing the tide of the Revolutionary War 09:06.640 --> 09:14.960 and paving the way for the birth of our nation. At that time only 40 to 45 percent of the 09:14.960 --> 09:20.320 population in the American colonies supported the patriots and those that actually fought 09:20.960 --> 09:28.560 were a staggering lower percentage. The men that crossed the Delaware on Christmas Eve did not 09:28.560 --> 09:38.560 cross it for glory, riches or great attribution. Most didn't even have shoes. They knew that if they 09:38.560 --> 09:45.920 were successful the work ahead of them to build a nation would be fraught with peril, trials 09:45.920 --> 09:52.400 and tribulations. These men were bound however to a cause that would outlive them all, 09:53.440 --> 09:56.960 the cause of freedom that lives on to this day. 09:59.200 --> 10:06.480 This election season has many parallels to that cold perilous season 248 years ago. 10:07.040 --> 10:14.960 The British and their loyalists of 1776 were opposed by the patriots who called them 10:14.960 --> 10:23.040 persons inimical to the liberties of America. Today a large group of politicians, 10:23.040 --> 10:27.920 bureaucrats and members of our intelligence community leadership have decided that the 10:27.920 --> 10:35.360 freedoms we so poignantly fought for are no longer necessary due to their self-ascribed ability 10:35.680 --> 10:43.600 to manage and keep the country safe. This perpetual self-licking ice cream cone of risk 10:43.600 --> 10:50.160 adversion and self-promotion within the power elite and fueled by the globalist agenda has pushed 10:50.160 --> 11:02.000 our great nation to a tipping point once again. Myself and I'm pretending I'm President Trump 11:02.000 --> 11:06.720 and other good and virtuous leaders who are trying to guide our nation along the lines of freedom 11:06.720 --> 11:14.560 are being constantly attacked by a well-funded opposition whose only goal is to seek and maintain 11:14.560 --> 11:21.680 personal and ideological power at all costs. The biggest cost being the safety and freedoms that 11:21.680 --> 11:31.520 our nation represents at home and in the world. Like a well executed covert action the fabric of 11:31.520 --> 11:37.040 this great nation has been slowly stretched and unraveled setting the stage for our nation's 11:37.040 --> 11:46.160 greatest battle. We are at war not the kinetic type combat seen in conflicts around the world. 11:46.800 --> 11:52.160 No it's a war of foreign threats that seek the destruction of our country while equally we are 11:52.160 --> 12:00.720 in a cold civil war that is fighting for the very existence of our republic. This asymmetrical 12:00.720 --> 12:07.200 conflict has been brewing for nearly a century with the slow, meticulous assault on our educational 12:07.200 --> 12:14.160 systems, the insured generational poverty both economically and of ideas in our inner city, 12:14.960 --> 12:21.120 and the gradual usurping of our everyday freedoms due to a massive central government and 12:21.120 --> 12:27.840 administrative state that continues to seize liberties through honorous regulations and taxation. 12:28.240 --> 12:36.400 The slow metastasis has been nurtured, aided, and abetted by ideological progresses that are moving 12:36.400 --> 12:43.120 to subjugate the masses to an all-powerful, centralized government or as they would probably like to 12:43.120 --> 12:53.840 say benevolent tyranny. The progressive leaders voiced progressive laws upon an unsuspecting 12:53.840 --> 13:01.680 electric disguised as good or benevolent actions designed to create a utopian steady state 13:02.960 --> 13:12.400 while they continue their tyrannical quests in the name of equality and equity. My fellow Americans 13:13.760 --> 13:21.360 let me ask you how did a young nation who conquered and defeated the most powerful military on 13:21.360 --> 13:28.000 the earth, fought a civil war for true equality and freedom, and defeated a tyranny in Europe twice, 13:28.560 --> 13:34.240 lead the industrial revolution, and that continually is on the forefront of research and 13:34.240 --> 13:41.520 development become anesthetized to the basic doctrine that is the foundation of our nation. 13:44.000 --> 13:49.120 Why do we elect self-serving representatives and local and national government that are 13:49.120 --> 13:56.640 hastening the decline of our republic? Can we reverse course? Can we defeat the greatest 13:56.640 --> 14:08.640 enemy our nation has ever known? The answer is clearly yes, and clearly no. Yes, if the threat is 14:08.640 --> 14:15.120 identified, addressed, encountered at every move, no, if the American public continues to chase and 14:15.120 --> 14:21.840 believe a progressive Marxist narrative that is not supported by history, experience, or intellect, 14:22.480 --> 14:28.240 but is maintained by sophisticated demigods and a Praetorian Guard media that are determined to 14:28.240 --> 14:36.640 drag this republic into the dustbin of history. As I pulled all the facts and data together, 14:36.640 --> 14:44.160 a clear picture has appeared. For me, there is really only one problem or challenge in our nation. 14:44.800 --> 14:53.440 One problem with dozens of manifestations. The challenge is that everywhere we look, our national 14:53.440 --> 15:00.800 government is failing us. Failing us by what it has done and what it has not done. Failing us through 15:00.800 --> 15:08.800 neglect, mismanagement, misjudgment, and misrepresentation. The rule of law, the delicate balance of the 15:08.800 --> 15:14.880 Constitution, trust in our institutions, and even in each other, the integrity of our elections, 15:14.880 --> 15:20.800 federal agencies, and national borders, the ability of our people to work, prosper, and take care 15:20.800 --> 15:29.920 of their families on their own, all have been dangerously diminished by government failure. 15:31.200 --> 15:36.080 Nothing less than what remains of our free economy, our free institutions, and our very 15:36.880 --> 15:44.800 character and virtue as a people have been put at risk. Abraham Lincoln, who was president during the 15:44.800 --> 15:51.920 second crucial point in our history, said, all the armies of Europe and Asia could not by force 15:51.920 --> 16:01.200 take a drink from the Ohio River or make a track on the Blue Ridge in the trial of a thousand years. 16:01.200 --> 16:08.560 No, if destruction be our light, we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of free 16:08.560 --> 16:22.720 men, we will live forever or die by suicide. My fellow Americans. Voters have been clear in the past 16:22.720 --> 16:28.800 on what they sent politicians to Washington to do and what the politicians promised us they would do. 16:29.600 --> 16:36.480 However, once in office, many, if not most, betray their constituents and their constitutional oath. 16:37.200 --> 16:41.680 They don't pledge their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor, but instead come to 16:41.680 --> 16:46.800 Washington to improve their lives, make their fortunes, and be called your honor. 16:48.240 --> 16:55.600 Their promises turn out to be meaningless platitudes. You know what can be unburdened by what has been, 16:56.320 --> 17:04.080 but in reality, it is what will never be unburdened by their continual past failures because they 17:04.080 --> 17:12.560 are never held to account. If pressed, they will equivocate that what their offices requires of them 17:12.560 --> 17:19.120 is now impractical, politically impossible, more complicated than we imagined, and likely to turn 17:19.200 --> 17:23.920 Hispanics, millennials, social security recipients against the party permanently. 17:24.880 --> 17:29.920 Of course, what is practical, possible, and simple enough to be accomplished always 17:30.800 --> 17:37.760 seems to be what minimizes national media criticism, conforms to the US Chamber of Commerce, 17:37.760 --> 17:42.640 policy agenda, or the globalist agenda. And with any luck, puts the Republican, 17:43.600 --> 17:48.560 yes, I said, at congressman often enjoying the best job he or she has ever had one step 17:48.560 --> 17:54.880 closer to the fabulously lucrative post-congressional career of K Street lobbyists. 17:56.800 --> 18:03.680 Unfortunately, all we the people get are the consequences of their inaction and failure. 18:05.680 --> 18:08.080 The rise to power of the Marxist, 18:08.960 --> 18:14.960 counter-state, I did not say deep state because this is not a conspiracy but the identification 18:14.960 --> 18:21.840 of a problem, or a byproduct of political correctness, a willful ignorance about the nature of 18:21.840 --> 18:29.840 our enemies and a strategic minimalism that will not see national defense issues as the existential 18:29.840 --> 18:40.560 threat it is by its very nature. I say it with no pleasure that the hour is late and the continued 18:40.560 --> 18:46.880 existence of our republic is in peril. Because our political and national security elites 18:46.880 --> 18:52.960 have a near complete lack of comprehension of the nature of the hazards, threats and tactics 18:52.960 --> 19:00.000 facing America, and worse, they believe fictions fed to them as enemy propaganda making them at a 19:00.000 --> 19:07.440 minimum guilty of professional malpractice in occupying the roles of responsibility. The people 19:07.440 --> 19:15.760 have placed them in. If we don't address this as a nation, it will mean our downfall. 19:19.280 --> 19:21.600 My fellow Americans 19:23.440 --> 19:27.760 The majority of American people see the problems that has threatened our freedom once again. 19:28.400 --> 19:32.880 The American people are quietly watching corrupt intelligence professionals, 19:32.880 --> 19:39.360 the Praetorian Guard media, politicians and career bureaucrats isolate, firewall and control 19:40.160 --> 19:47.680 any successful solutions and ideas from being implemented to secure our elections and our freedoms. 19:49.200 --> 19:54.320 The Marxist counter-state and their globalist benefactors freely use the tools of freedom 19:54.320 --> 19:59.440 to secure their positions of power rather than to secure our nation. 19:59.600 --> 20:06.160 Ultimately, they are giving the global strength away and making us weak. 20:07.520 --> 20:13.520 We have foreign power working from within to weaken us, and they are building everything they 20:13.520 --> 20:21.680 need to crush us from all sides. They have lowered the temperature to freeze out innovation and 20:21.680 --> 20:27.360 success and have whipped up the winds of dissent trying to freeze the water so that the river 20:27.360 --> 20:33.760 cannot be crossed again thus preserving the status quo and weakening our republic. 20:35.200 --> 20:41.120 While this self-evident truth is casting dark clouds on our nation, this election season, 20:41.120 --> 20:47.760 I look back to the famous words written by Thomas Payne on December 19, days before Washington's famous 20:47.760 --> 20:56.480 crossing. Payne said, these are the times that try men's souls, the summer soldier and the sunshine 20:56.560 --> 21:03.600 patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of his country, but he that stands it now 21:03.600 --> 21:11.120 deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. tyranny, like hell is not easily conquered, 21:11.120 --> 21:17.360 yet we have this consolation with us, the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. 21:17.520 --> 21:28.240 My fellow Americans, the elements are against us, but the cause is just and our mission is clear. 21:29.040 --> 21:34.880 I am calling upon all American patriots from all races, color and creeds by God's grace, 21:35.440 --> 21:39.120 this election season to peacefully cross the river once again, 21:39.440 --> 21:47.280 and what does peacefully crossing the river look like? And it's a spiritual war. 24:50.560 --> 24:59.120 And faith and fear can't coexist. And in spiritual warfare, the enemy can only succeed if he can 24:59.120 --> 25:07.920 pull you down to his battle space. And the armor of God brings you to the spiritual 25:08.640 --> 25:15.040 part where the war is won. It's never won in the flesh. And if you choose faith and Christ through 25:15.040 --> 25:22.400 the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit does battle for you. And Satan has no power when God is for you. 25:23.360 --> 25:30.000 His only power is to keep you from reaching to God and capturing you in your own mind, 25:30.000 --> 25:36.640 preventing you from seeking the Holy Spirit.
